Hyderabad: Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin of the Telangana High Court will on Wednesday take up the batch of appeals filed against the single judge’s verdict that quashed the Group-1 Mains results and directed re-evaluation of answer sheets.
In all, 15 appeals have been filed, 12 by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) and 3 by selected candidates. The single judge’s ruling, delivered earlier this month, not only annulled the results but also ordered re-evaluation of the Mains answer scripts, holding that the process adopted was flawed.
On Tuesday, one of the appeals came up before the Chief Justice’s bench. Advocate General A. Sudarshan Reddy, appearing for the State and TGPSC, requested that all appeals be heard together, given the common issues involved. Accepting this request, the bench adjourned the matter, stating that all petitions will be heard collectively on Wednesday.
