Hyderabad: Justice Shameem Akhter of Telangana High Court dismissed a petition filed by the three BJP MLAs, who were under suspended fro the ongoing Telangana Legislative Assembly Budget session.
The three MLAs T Raja Singh, M Raghunandan Rao and Etela Rajender were suspended on March 7 on a motion moved by minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
The reason for suspension passed against the petitioners was that they wanted to organize a protest against the budget and TRS party as latter chose not to schedule the customary Governor’s speech at the beginning of the budget session.
The petitioners aggrieved by the suspension orders challenged the same before the court. The court after hearing in length the submissions of the Advocate General BS Prasad and senior counsel D Prakash Reddy appearing for petitioners dismissed the petition.
