Telangana High Court on Wednesday accepted the lunch motion petition filed by BRS working president KT Rama Rao.
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Wednesday accepted the lunch motion petition filed by BRS working president KT Rama Rao and listed it for hearing at 2.30 pm. Rama Rao moved the High Court in connection with the Formula-E case, seeking orders to the ACB officials to question him in the presence of his lawyers.
The ACB had earlier summoned Rama Rao for questioning on Monday, but did not allow his lawyer to accompany him. He insisted that he must be questioned in the presence of his lawyers which is a constitutional right. He was forced to submit a written reply to the ACB notice and return.
However, after the High Court dismissed his petition to quash the ACB case against him, the officials served another notice on Monday, summoning him for questioning on Thursday.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) also summoned him for questioning on January 16.
