Hyderabad: The first-year intermediate public examinations for the second-year students have commenced smoothly across the State on Monday. The exams which began with second language paper-I at 9 am would conclude at 12 noon.
Students turned up at the exam centres wearing face masks and they were allowed inside after thermal screening besides sanitizing their hands.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) had made elaborate arrangements including constituting 1,768 centres across the State besides appointing 25,258 invigilators for conducting the exams.
A total of 4,59,228 students were expected to take the examinations which would conclude on November 3.
