TG BIE decides to award full marks for the question no. 7 related to pie chart to all students who attempted it in English exam
Hyderabad: Intermediate second-year students who appeared for the English exam on Monday will get four marks, provided they attempted question no.7.
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) has decided to award full marks for the question no. 7 related to the pie chart to all students who attempted it.
Following the exam, some students raised concerns over the clarity of lines in the question.
“A thorough discussion was held with subject experts to assess the issue. In the interest of fairness and ensuring that students are not at a disadvantage due to printing inconsistencies, the Board decided to award full marks for the respective question to all students who attempted to answer it in the answer sheet,” the TG BIE said.
Meanwhile, a total of 13,029 students were absent for the exam. As many as 4,46,992 students registered and 4,33,963 appeared.
