Hyderabad: Upset intermediate student ends life after failing to clear one subject

Hyderabad: Upset over not being able to clear her intermediate examinations, a teenaged girl died allegedly by suicide in her house at Nagole on Tuesday.

In the results which were announced earlier in the day, she had failed to clear one subject. The youngster was identified as Arundhati (17), an intermediate second-year student of a private junior college in the city.

As per available information, Arundhati had failed to clear the Botany subject in the intermediate exams. She was upset over this and hanged form the ceiling fan in her room.

Her family members found her hanging and immediately shifted her to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared her dead.

The Nagole police are investigating.
