Hyderabad: To help students overcome fear and stress and perform well in the first-year inter exams, the State government has made available free study material of the intermediate first-year, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said.
Releasing the study material of the intermediate first-year here on Tuesday, the Minister said it would help the students to answer questions easily and comprehensively. The study material which was prepared by experts in subjects – Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Physics and History – would be available from Tuesday and study material for other subjects would be released in a couple of days, she said. The material is available on the website https://tsbie.cgg.gov.in/.
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic impact on the academic calendar which made several students miss first-year classes for some time, first year examinations would be conducted covering 70 per cent syllabus with 50 per cent choices in the question paper, the Minister said and wanted students to appear for the examinations with confidence and secure good marks.
The government on its part was offering quality education besides taking measures for overall development of the students studying in the government junior colleges, she said, adding that the measures taken by the government is benefiting lakhs of students.
