Telangana: Jagga Reddy’s remark on loans to boy seeking Ganesh idol donation draws laughter

Sangareddy: Congress leader T Jagga Reddy triggered laughter when he suggested that an eight-year-old boy borrow loans to install a Ganesh idol, after the boy approached him seeking donations in Sangareddy town on Sunday morning.
Jagga Reddy was interacting with locals after participating in a programme at Rama Mandir area when the boy made the request. To everyone’s surprise, the former Sangareddy MLA quipped that those who borrow loans progress in life, drawing laughter from the gathering.
He added that he himself had progressed in life through borrowing, before assuring that he would contribute a donation a couple of days before the idol immersion.
