Sangareddy: One of the farmers who was arrested and jailed in connection with the November 12 Lagacherla incident has been admitted to hospital following chest pain.
According to officials, Veerya Nayak (45), a farmer from Lagacherla, was shifted to the government hospital in Sangareddy after he complained of chest pain. Official sources in the jail said Nayak had complained about chest pain on Wednesday.
When the hospital staff checked, they found variations in his ECG reading. Since his condition appeared to be “not so serious”, the jail authorities shifted him to the hospital on Thursday morning.
