Telangana: Karimnagar Police arrest six members of inter-district burglar gangs
Karimnagar Police arrested six members of two inter-district burglar gangs, including two siblings. Officials detailed their modus operandi, revealing that two repeat offenders resumed burglaries after losing money in online betting apps. Police continue investigation into their criminal activities

Karimnagar: The Karimnagar Commissionerate Police on Wednesday arrested six members of two inter-district burglar gangs, including two siblings.
During a media briefing, Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam explained the gangs’ modus operandi. In one case, Teku Ganga Sailoo and his brother Teku Bhumaiah, both from Dikampalli in Nizamabad, along with Bartha Eknathshelke of Manulapur in Nirmal and Uppula Venu of Nirmal, were arrested.
In a separate case, Dinesh Raj Purohit of Karimnagar and Kothoju Sandeep Chary of Jawaharnagar, Hyderabad, were taken into custody.
Police said the latter duo had previously been arrested for multiple thefts and served jail terms. After their release, they became addicted to online betting apps, lost money, and resumed burglaries to recover their losses.
