Telangana: KGBV Inter first-year student attempts suicide in Wanaparthy
A first-year intermediate student from KGBV Wanaparthy attempted suicide by jumping from the school building. She was shifted to NIMS, Hyderabad, for better treatment. The motive behind her attempt remains unknown, and investigations are underway.
WANAPARTHY: Panic gripped the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Wanaparthy on Monday after Dharani, an intermediate first-year student, attempted suicide by jumping from the school building.
Following the incident, students and staff rushed her to the Government Hospital. After initial treatment, hospital staff advised the school authorities to shift her to NIMS, Hyderabad, for better medical care.
Dharani, a native of Krishnagiri village in the district, had recently enrolled in the first-year intermediate course at KGBV. The reasons behind her suicide attempt are yet to be ascertained, according to preliminary reports.
