Hyderabad: Several senior BRS leaders have expressed deep sorrow over the tragic stampede at the New Delhi Railway Station, which resulted in multiple fatalities, including children.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao conveyed his condolences, calling it a heartbreaking incident.
“Deeply saddened by the tragic stampede, which claimed the lives of 15 innocent people, including three children. My heartfelt condolences go out to their families and their loved ones,” he said.
He wished for a speedy recovery to the injured. Emphasising the need for better crowd management, he stated that as a nation with 140 crore population, there was a need for better crowd control mechanisms to prevent such tragedies.
Former Minister and senior BRS MLA T Harish Rao expressed shock at the incident, stating, “An unimaginable tragedy. The loss of 18 lives, including innocent children, is deeply painful. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the injured to recover soon.”
MLC K Kavitha also condoled the loss of lives. “Deeply saddened by the stampede. My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured,” she said.
