Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao paid rich tributes to eminent poet and Jnanpith awardee Singireddy Narayana Reddy (Cinare) on his birth anniversary, recalling his unmatched contribution to Telugu literature.
In a statement, Rama Rao remembered Cinare as a treasure trove of literature who wrote poems, ghazals, essays, and memorable film lyrics. “As poet, researcher, teacher, and lyricist, Cinare left an indelible mark on the Telugu literary world,” he said.
He lauded Cinare’s pivotal role in enriching the Telugu language and revolutionising film music with his works, noting that his literary service stands tall above all honours. He recalled that Cinare also served as Rajya Sabha MP.
