Telangana: Langurs attack two at Zaheerabad Area Hospital
The victims appealed to the government to rescue the langurs and shift them to a forest area; citizens said the monkeys have been attacking those who tried to drive them away
Sangareddy: Two persons were injured in separate attacks by langurs on the premises of the Area Hospital in Zaheerabad on Friday.
In the first incident, Mohammad Akram, a resident of Zaheerabad, was bitten while accompanying his daughter to the hospital. In another case, MD Abdul Khadr, who was suffering from fever, was attacked while seeking treatment.
Akram received four stitches, while Khadr required six. Both were injured on their legs.
The victims appealed to the government to rescue the langurs and shift them to a forest area. Citizens said the monkeys have been attacking people who tried to drive them away.
