Telangana lockdown: Advocates can avail e-Pass for travel

For getting an e-Pass, advocates must submit an application to the Police Commissioners and the district Superintendent of Police under their jurisdiction, providing residential and office address

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Tuesday said advocates appearing in High Court and various other courts in the State would be permitted to move from 2 pm till 5 pm from the residence or office and back on official purpose only, based on e-Pass to be issued by the police department

For getting an e-Pass, advocates must submit an application to the Police Commissioners and the district Superintendent of Police under their jurisdiction, providing residential and office address. The movement is restricted to ply between residence and office during 2 pm till 5 pm.


The e-Pass will be valid till June 9. Director General of Police M Mahendar Reddy would take necessary action in the matter.
