Telangana logs 194 new Covid cases, three deaths
A total of 116 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,97,032 with a recovery rate of 98.83 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 194 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Wednesday, taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,649 while the total number of positive cases is 3,00,536. As on Wednesday, there were 1,855 active Covid-19 cases in the State. A total of 116 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,97,032 with a recovery rate of 98.83 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 96.9 per cent.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 37,904 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 525 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 90,93,645 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 3,00,536 have tested positive and 2,97,032 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included seven from Adilabad, four from Bhadradri, 35 from areas under GHMC, four each from Jagtiyal and Jangaon, two from Kamareddy, eight from Karimnagar, six from Khammam, one from Asifabad, six from Mahabubnagar, four from Mahabubabad, eight from Mancherial, two from Medak, 14 from Medchal Malkajgiri, one from Mulugu, two from Nagarkurnool, six from Nalgonda, two from Nirmal, nine from Nizamabad, six each from Peddapalli and Siricilla, 16 from Rangareddy, eight each from Sangareddy, six from Siddipet, two from Suryapet, seven from Vikarabad, four from Wanaparthy, two from Warangal Rural, seven from Warangal Urban and five from Yadadri.
