Telangana logs 3,464 cases, 25 deaths on Friday

Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 65, 997 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 2, 227 samples are awaited

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 3,464 new Covid infections and 25 fatalities on Friday evening taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3085 and the total number of positive cases to 5,47,727.The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday evening, is 44,395.

Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 65, 997 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 2, 227 samples are awaited. On Friday, 4801 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 91.33 percent. So far, a total of 1, 44, 02, 251 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5, 47, 727 have tested positive and 5, 00, 247 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included from 14 Adilabad, 115 from Bhadradri, 534 from areas under GHMC, 92 from Jagtiyal, 30 from Jangaon, 47 from Bhupalpally, 61 from Gadwal, 43 from Kamareddy, 136 from Karimnagar, 217 from Khammam, 28 from Asifabad, 135 from Mahabubnagar, 89 from Mahabubabad, 103 from Mancherial, 51 from Medak, 219 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 51 from Mulugu, 111 from Nagarkurnool, 150 from Nalgonda, 28 from Narayanpet, 15 from Nirmal, 53 from Nizamabad, 94 from Peddapalli, 49 from Siricilla, 243 from Rangareddy, 86 from Sangareddy, 110 from Siddipet, 51 from Suryapet, 115 from Vikarabad, 84 from Wanaparthy, 109 from Warangal Rural, 111 from Warangal Urban and 90 from Bhongir.
