Telangana logs 657 new Covid cases, two deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 657 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Tuesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,766 and the total number of positive cases to 6,38,030.
The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Tuesday was 9,787. On Tuesday, authorities conducted 1,04,478 Covid tests of which results of 1,071 samples were awaited. A total of 704 individuals recovered on Tuesday with a recovery rate of 97.87 per cent.
So far, a total of 2.07 crore tests have been conducted in the State of which 6,38,030 have tested positive and 6,24,477 persons recovered.
The Covid positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad, 25 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 74 from areas under GHMC, 22 from Jagitial, nine from Jangaon, 10 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, four each from Jogulamba Gadwal and Kamareddy, 45 from Karimnagar, 58 from Khammam, four from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, seven from Mahabubnagar, 16 from Mahabubabad, 43 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 27 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, seven Mulugu, six from Nagarkurnool, 41 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, 45 from Peddapalli, 21 from Rajanna Sircilla, 31 from Rangareddy, six from Sangareddy, 11 from Siddipet, 42 from Suryapet, three from Vikarabad, four from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural, 43 from Warangal Urban and 20 from Yadadri Bhongir.
