Telangana: Man dies during treatment at private hospital in Medak’s Toopran, kin stage protest
Family alleges that the patient who was suffering from stomach ache was treated by a male nurse and not a doctor at Raghavendra Nursing Home
Medak: The relatives of a man, who died while undergoing treatment at a private nursing home, staged a protest accusing a male nurse of doing the duties of a doctor.
They alleged that Chippa Yadagiri, 50, a resident of Shivvampet, died as the male nurse had treated him.
According to them, they had shifted Yadagiri to Raghavendra Nursing Home in Toopran as he complained about stomach pain on Sunday morning.
However, it was a male nurse who treated him in the absence of the doctors, they alleged.
Yadagiri died a couple of hours after he was admitted to the hospital.
The kin filed a case at Toopran police station.
