Medak: Shivvampet police arrested Tejavath Gopal (22), who killed his brother at Nanu thanda in the early hours of Saturday by electrocution. The police found that Gopal eliminated his brother Shankar to continue extramarital relationship with his brother’s wife Lalitha.

During interrogation, Gopal reportedly confessed that he decided to eliminate his brother to continue the relationship. The police said it was the third marriage for Shankar as he had divorced two women earlier. They further said Gopal had gone to jail earlier on charges of smuggling ganja. After walking out of jail a couple of months ago, Gopal hatched a plan to kill Shankar as he was coming in the way of the relationship.


The accused was produced before court.
