Telangana: Man kills mother, injures father and sister in Parkal

While the mother succumbed to the injuries, the father and sister sustained serious injuries, and have been shifted to MGM hospital for treatment.

Warangal Urban: In a shocking incident, a man attacked his parents and sister with a knife in an inebriated condition on Monday night at Vikas Nagar in Parkal town in the district.

While the mother succumbed to the injuries, the father and sister sustained serious injuries, and have been shifted to MGM hospital for treatment. The deceased was identified as Rokandla Padma (48) and the injured Rokandla Ramchander and Neeraja.

According to police sources, Neeraja, who is five months pregnant, came to her parents’ home for delivery. It is said that the accused, Rajesh alias Ramesh, who works as a van driver, committed the crime due to alleged dispute on handing over the house to him.

Rajesh, who lives in a rented house, has been allegedly demanding that his parents vacate the ancestral house and hand it over to him. The Parkal police registered a case and shifted the body to a local government hospital for postmortem. Inspector Mahender Reddy and his team visited the spot and collected evidence.
