Hyderabad: A 33 year-old man was murdered by two persons at Kandukur in Ranga Reddy district when he demanded his hand loan be cleared.
According to the police, the victim Malagasi (33), a resident of Kandukur, had reportedly given some amount of money to a woman, Shashikala, a few months ago.
On Saturday, Malagasi in an inebriated state went to Shashikala’s house and started an argument demanding the money be returned to him. Angered over it, Shashikala’s brothers Vinayak and Shekar, beat up Malagasi and sent him away. The duo later went to the police station and made a complaint against Malagasi.
“On coming to know about it, Malagasi along with his mother started on their bike for the police station to lodge a counter complaint. On the way, Vinayak and Shekar rammed their bike into the motorcycle of Malagasi. When the man fell down,Vinayak and Shekar attacked Malagasi with sticks leading to injuries. He was shifted to hospital where he died during treatment last night,” said Kandukur Inspector, K Seetharam.
