Telangana: Medak DEO issues notices to 19 KGBV staffers over fund irregularities

The DEO of Medak has served notices to 19 staff members of KGBV school in Toopran, seeking clarification on alleged irregularities involving Rs 17 lakh. An inquiry into the financial mismanagement is currently in progress

Medak: District Educational Officer (DEO) Radhakishan has served notices to 19 staff members of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Toopran following allegations of irregularities involving Rs 17 lakh allotted to the institution.

The DEO issued memos to the school’s special officer Gouthami, the accountant, and 17 computer operators, seeking their explanation regarding the alleged misuse of funds.

Meanwhile, an inquiry is also under way, with the DEO personally investigating the reported financial discrepancies at the school.
