Telangana Media Academy provides financial aid to 55 journalists
As many as 55 journalists were infected with Coronavirus in erstwhile Khammam district and an amount of Rs 10,000 each was credited into their accounts

Khammam: The Telangana Media Academy has provided immediate financial assistance of Rs 5.50 lakh to journalists in the district.
As many as 55 journalists were infected with Coronavirus in erstwhile Khammam district and an amount of Rs 10,000 each was credited into their accounts, informed the TUWJ district president and general secretaries A Adinarayana and Syed Ismail.
The Media Academy Chairman, Allam Narayana, responded immediately when the issue was taken to his notice. Similarly, an amount of Rs 2 lakh compensation was also paid to families of a few journalists.
The TUWJ leaders thanked the State government and the academy for the assistance provided to the families of Covid victims. They urged the journalists to be careful in delivering their duties and protect themselves from the virus.
