Telangana: Mice found in kitchen of Peddapur Gurukul in Jagital
Incidentally, the District Collector had suspended a teacher in the same school and issued a memo to the principal four days ago, according to reports.
Jagital: The callousness of staff in providing safe and hygienic food in State-run schools was once again exposed, this time from Jagtial. Baby mice were found in the kitchen of the Peddapur Gurukul in Metpally mandal of the district on Thursday.
Incidentally, the District Collector had suspended a teacher in the same school and issued a memo to the principal four days ago, according to reports.
Incidentally, this is the same school in which two students had died within a fortnight in August, with one suspected of dying of food poisoning, while another student had died, reportedly of a snake bite on the school campus. Following the deaths in August, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other cabinet Ministers had visited the school and assured that such incidents would not recur.
Sharing image of the baby mice on X, BRS leader Manne Krishank said: “Exactly in August BRS working president KT Rama Rao had visited the family of young Anirudh, who passed away in the school. Mother pleaded Congress government that such loss shall never happen again to anyone and Congress Deputy CM with Ministers had visited the next day. Today- rats were found in food in same school. Looks like no learning after Anirudh’s death..” Krishank said.
