Telangana: Motorcyclist killed in road accident in Adilabad
The motorcyclist, believed to be from Maharashtra was killed on the spot when a truck hit his bike near Khodad village of Talamadugu mandal
Adilabad: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot when a truck hit his bike near Khodad village of Talamadugu mandal here on Tuesday morning.
Police said the motorcyclist was believed to be from Maharashtra.
Following the road accident, villagers of Khodad organised a rasta roko seeking police intervention to end the series of road accidents.
The protestors also demanded suitable compensation to the victim.
The truck belonged to KTC transport of Maharashtra.
Local police reached the spot and assured that the victim’s family would be compensated suitably, following which the villagers called off the protest.
