Siddipet: An elderly couple was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Akkenapally in Nanganur mandal on Thursday.
Avula Komuraiah (80) and Budhavva (75) were living in a house located in their agriculture field on the village outskirts. The neighbouring farmers grew suspicious as the doors of the house remained closed on Thursday morning. They broke open the doors and saw the couple lifeless.
They called the Rajagopalpet police, who shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Siddipet for postmortem after examining the crime scene. The probe is on.
