Telangana: NEET aspirant ends life in Jagtial

Pujitha, who failed to get a good rank in the 2023 examination, went for long term coaching for NEET and appeared for the exam conducted recently

JAGTIAL: Believing that she could not perform upto her expectations in the NEET examination held recently, Janga Pujitha (18) died, allegedly by suicide, in Chelgal of Jagtial mandal.

According to villagers, Pujitha hanged herself from the ceiling in her house.

Pujitha, who failed to get a good rank in the 2023 examination, went for long term coaching for NEET and appeared for the exam conducted recently. However, thinking that she could not perform well this time too, she was upset and is suspected to have resorted to the extreme step.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
