Telangana: NTPC Ramagundam celebrates 47th raising day

NTPC-Ramagundam authorities have decided to celebrate the occasion for three days from November 14 to 16. Besides cultural programmes, laser show, drone show and other events will be organized.

Peddapalli: The 47th Raising Day celebrations of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)-Ramagundam were held on a grand scale on Thursday, marking a significant year in the station’s history.

This milestone coincides with two other achievements such as 40 years of Unit-1’s operations and NTPC’s 50 years of leadership in the Indian power sector. NTPC-Ramagundam authorities have decided to celebrate the occasion for three days from November 14 to 16. Besides cultural programmes, laser show, drone show and other events will be organized.

The celebrations started with a morning walk held from the main shopping complex, PTS NTPC, under the leadership of Regional Executive Director (South) & Executive Director (Ramagundam & Telangana) Kedar Ranjan Pandu, followed by flag hoisting, balloon release and cake cutting ceremony at the Admin Building Lawn.

Central NBC Members Babar Salim Pasha, NTPC General Managers, HOHR, senior members of DMS, representatives of unions and all employees took part in the walk.
