Telangana: Panic after mysterious blast in Biryani hotel in Nalgonda

The blast took place in the early hours in the Hot Bucket Biryani Centre on Hyderabad road in Nalgonda. The impact was such that the hotel shutter gate blew off and the furniture inside the hotel was hurled outside.

Nalgonda: A deafening blast in a restaurant on Hyderabad road led to a panicky situation in the town on Tuesday early hours. Police are yet to find out the cause of the explosion, as they could not say whether it was a cylinder blast or otherwise.

The blast took place in the early hours in the Hot Bucket Biryani Centre on Hyderabad road in Nalgonda. The impact was such that the hotel shutter gate blew off and the furniture inside the hotel was hurled outside.


As it happened in the early hours, no injuries were caused.

A fire broke out after the blast and fire tenders rushed to the spot and succeeded in containing the fire.

It was said that the mysterious blast took place some 15 minutes after the biryani centre was closed. Investigation is in progress.
