Telangana PGECET receives over 11,000 applications

Telangana PGECET 2026 has received over 11,000 applications so far, with pharmacy courses seeing the highest demand. The last date to apply without a late fee is May 6, with extended deadlines available with penalties

Hyderabad: As many as 11,347 applications were received for the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2026 till the latest count on Friday. Of the total, 3,742 applications were for CS and IT, 4,579 for pharmacy, 1,036 for ECE and only three for textile technology.

The deadline to apply via the website https://pgecet.tgche.ac.in/ without a late fee is May 6. With a late fee of Rs.250 and Rs.500, applications can be submitted up to May 9 and May 12 respectively. Applications will be accepted with late fees of Rs.2,500, Rs.5,000 and Rs.10,000 till May 15, May 18 and May 26 respectively.
