Telangana pilgrim stabbed to death during Giri Pradakshina at Tiruvannamalai
Chippalapalli Vidyasagar, a 32-year-old pilgrim from Yadadri Bhongir, Telangana, was killed during the Giri Pradakshina ritual at Arunachalam temple in Tamil Nadu. He was reportedly attacked by robbers and died while being taken to the hospital. Police are investigating.

Bhongir: A pilgrim from Yadadri Bhongir district was killed reportedly by unidentified assailants at Arunachalam temple in Tamil Nadu on Friday. According to reports reaching here, Chippalapalli Vidyasagar, a 32-year-old resident of Indiranagar Colony in Motkur Municipality was attacked reportedly by robbers at Tiruvannamalai when he was on a Giri Pradakshina ritual.
He was stabbed multiple times as he tried to resist them. Onlooker, who came to his rescue, tried to shift him to the hospital, but he succumbed on the way. Tiruvannamalai police have started an investigation and a hunt is on for the attackers.
