Telangana POLYCET results out, girls outdo boys

A total of 98,858 candidates appeared for the exams, with 80,949 qualifying in the MPC stream and 83,364 in the MBiPC stream. Once again, girls outshone boys in the results. Of the 45,773 girls who took the exams, 85.26% qualified in MPC and 88.54% in MBiPC. In comparison, 53,085 boys recorded a qualifying percentage of 78.97% in MPC and 80.69% in the MBiPC stream.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TG POLYCET) 2025 results were declared on Saturday with 81.88 percent and 84.33 percent students qualifying in the MPC and MBiPC streams respectively. Results are available on the website https://www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.

A total of 98858 candidates appeared and 80949 in MPC and 83364 MBiPC streams have qualified. Once again girls outperform boys in results. As many as 45773 girls took the tests and 85.26 percent in MPC and 88.54 percent in MBiPC streams qualified whereas 53085 boys recorded a qualifying percentage of 78.97 percent in MPC and 80.69 percent MBiPC stream.


The Technical Education department will shortly announce the admission counselling schedule.

The TG POLYCET is conducted for admissions to engineering and non-engineering diplomas offered by the SBTET and diplomas in Agriculture, Veterinary and Horticulture Universities.
