Telangana PSC releases Group-II services final results
The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) released the final Group-II recruitment results, selecting 782 candidates out of 783 posts. One vacancy was withheld. The results are provisional and depend on pending court cases. False claims can cancel selection
Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Sunday released the Group-II services recruitment final results. A total of 783 vacancies were notified and 782 candidates were provisionally selected for appointment, while one vacancy has been withheld.
The provisional selection to 18 posts was on the basis of the written examination, followed by a general ranking list and verification of certificates. The Commission said results hosted on its website https ://www.tgpsc.gov.in/ were subject to the outcome of the writ petitions pending before the court.
“If it comes to the notice of the Commission later that any candidate has furnished false information or the selection is not in order due to any act of omission or commission of any candidate, then his/her provisional selection is liable to be cancelled at any stage and they will forfeit all consequential benefits, including that of selection,” it said.
The TGPSC reserves the right to take any action as it deems fit in the circumstances of the case in terms of the provisions as per the rules, it added.
