Telangana: Pujas, rituals going on in Basara temple with limited staff

Hyderabad: Gnana Saraswathi Temple, Basara, Executive Officer Vinod Reddy said all the pujas and rituals were being performed to the Goddess and dismissed reports being telecast by some TV channels that the temple was locked and rituals were suspended.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the temple EO and Archakas said all the pujas, including Abhishekham, Alankarana, Harathi and Naivedyam were offered to the goddess.
In view of the Covid-19 guidelines and lockdown rules, limited staff are working in the temple and devotees are not being permitted for Darshan, he said, and appealed to the people not to believe false reports.
He further assured that all pujas and rituals will be performed by the Archakas daily as per schedule.
