Telangana records 3,387 new Covid cases, 25 fatalities
On Wednesday, 4,976 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 90.75 per cent
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 3,837 new Covid infections and 25 fatalities on Wednesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,037 and the total number of positive cases to 5,40,603.The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday evening, stood at 46,946.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 71,070 Covid tests of which results of 2,628 samples were awaited. On Wednesday, 4,976 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 90.75 per cent. So far, a total of 1,42,67,002 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,40,603 have tested positive and 4,90,620 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included from 17 Adilabad, 143 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 594 from areas under GHMC, 101 from Jagtiyal, 44 from Jangaon, 53 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 55 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 39 from Kamareddy, 140 from Karimnagar, 227 from Khammam, 26 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 120 from Mahabubnagar, 67 from Mahabubabad, 101 from Mancherial, 47 from Medak, 239 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 45 from Mulugu, 139 from Nagarkurnool, 175 from Nalgonda, 32 from Narayanpet, 20 from Nirmal, 62 from Nizamabad, 90 from Peddapalli, 75 from Rajanna Siricilla, 265 from Rangareddy, 104 from Sangareddy, 126 from Siddipet, 121 from Suryapet, 126 from Vikarabad, 88 from Wanaparthy, 123 from Warangal Rural, 139 from Warangal Urban and 94 from Yadadri Bhongir.
