Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 952 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Monday taking the overall toll to 1,410 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,58,828. As on Monday, there were 13,732 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 1,602 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,43,686 with a recovery rate of 94.14 per cent while the countrywide recovery rate was 93.40 per cent.
Between Sunday and Monday, 38,245 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 600 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 49,29,974 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,58,528 have tested positive and 2,43,686 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 15 from Adilabad, 71 from Bhadradri, 150 from areas under GHMC, 26 from Jagtiyal, eight from Jangaon, 12 from Bhupalpally, eight from Gadwal, 24 from Kamareddy, 35 from Karimnagar, 41 from Khammam, 11 from Asifabad, 15 from Mahabubnagar, 14 from Mahabubabad, 33 from Mancherial, 16 from Medak, 77 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 19 from Mulugu, 16 from Nagarkurnool, 45 from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, 14 from Nirmal, 23 from Nizamabad, 29 from Pedapalli, 19 from Siricilla, 68 from Rangareddy, 20 from Sangareddy, 23 from Siddipet, 32 from Suryapet, six each from Vikarabad and Wanaparthy, 13 from Warangal Rural and 44 from Warangal Urban and 18 from Bhongir.
