Hyderabad: Telangana reported 109 new Covid infections and one fatality on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 4,022 and the total number of positive cases so far to 6,80,662. The number of active cases in Telangana, as of Sunday, was 3,417.
The authorities on Sunday conducted 20,576 Covid tests of which results of 3,167 samples were awaited. A total of 190 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.90 per cent on Sunday.
So far, a total of 2,95,16,467 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,80,662 have tested positive and 6,73,223 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 69 from areas under GHMC, one each from Jangaon, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Sangareddy and Wanaparthy, two each Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Siddipet and Suryapet, seven each from Medchal-Malkajgiri and Hanamakonda and 10 from Rangareddy.
