Telangana reports 4,826 new cases, 32 deaths
On Monday, 7,754 individuals have recovered from the virus with a recovery rate of 86.94 per cent
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 4,826 new Covid infections and 32 fatalities till Monday evening, taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,771 and the total number of positive cases to 5,02,187. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday evening, has reached 62,797.
Between Sunday and Monday, authorities conducted 65,923 Covid tests and results of 2,345 samples are awaited.
On Monday, 7,754 individuals have recovered from the virus with a recovery rate of 86.94 per cent. So far, a total of 1,36,78,927 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,02,187, have tested positive and 4,36,619 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 57 from Adilabad, 99 from Bhadradri, 723 from areas under GHMC, 129 from Jagtiyal, 54 Jangaon, 79 from Bhupalpally, 75 from Gadwal, 49 from Kamareddy, 207 from Karimnagar, 205 from Khammam, 57 from Asifabad, 126 from Mahabubnagar, 117 from Mahabubabad, 142 from Mancherial, 65 from Medak, 324 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 50 from Mulugu, 208 from Nagarkurnool, 295 from Nalgonda, five from Narayanpet, 42 from Nirmal, 78 from Nizamabad, 144 from Peddapalli, 54 from Siricilla, 302 from Rangareddy, 87 from Sangareddy, 161 from Siddipet, 191 from Suryapet, 182 from Vikarabad, 94 from Wanaparthy, 86 from Warangal Rural, 242 from Warangal Urban and 97 from Bhongir.
