Telangana reports 746 new Covid-19 cases, five deaths on Monday

A total of 729 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.86 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 746 new Covid infections and five fatalities till Monday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,764 and the total number of positive cases to 6, 37,373. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday was 9, 836. On Monday, authorities conducted 1,20,165 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,370 samples are awaited.

A total of 729 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.86 per cent on Monday. So far, a total of 2,06,50,053 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6, 37, 373 have tested positive and 6, 23, 773 persons have recovered.


The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four from Adilabad, 18 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 71 from areas under GHMC, 34 from Jagtial, 12 from Jangaon, 21 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, five from Jogulamba Gadwal, two from Kamareddy, 57 from Karimnagar, 61 from Khammam, five from Komarambheem Asifabad, six from Mahabubnagar, 19 from Mahabubabad, 48 from Mancherial, four from Medak, 32 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 16 Mulugu, five from Nagarkurnool, 45 from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, four from Nirmal, eight from Nizamabad, 51 from Peddapalli, 27 from Rajanna Siricilla, 20 from Rangareddy, seven from Sangareddy, 22 from Siddipet, 41 from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, eight from Wanaparthy, 15 from Warangal Rural, 42 from Warangal Urban and 30 from Yadadri Bhongir.
