Telangana Residential College students protest against alleged police assault

Students of Telangana Residential Junior College in Jinnaram staged a protest on Sunday, alleging that two constables beat intermediate students after a hostel brawl involving Class 10 students. College staff had called 112 seeking police assistance following the incident.

Sangareddy: The inmates of Telangana Residential Junior College, Jinnaram, staged a protest, accusing the two constables of Jinnaram police station of beating them black and blue.

The intermediate second-year students and 10th-class students were involved in a brawl in the hostel on Saturday night at 10 PM when the staff called 112 seeking police help. The two constables, who arrived at the college, have reportedly beaten the intermediate students. The students came out of the hostel and staged a protest on Sunday.
