Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy‘s double standards on caste census are getting exposed with many people sharing earlier videos of him questioning the rationale and security of the details shared by households.
In a video shared by former MLA Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao on X, Revanth Reddy, when he was a Telugu Desam Party leader, is seen questioning the government about the security of details shared by people.
“Today, the State government is sending some unknown people and seeking all details pertaining to bank accounts, children, assets. How can people share such details with unknown people, does any man with a sound head take up such work? The government is considering this survey a major task,” Revanth Reddy is seen saying in the video, which is already going viral on different social media platforms.

In another video shared by BRS spokesperson Putta Vishnuvardhan Reddy on X, the Chief Minister while addressing the Congress’ state level consultation here, is seen saying: “People are asking me, being a forward caste member, how can you implement the caste census. I said my leader has committed to the nation to conduct a caste census. That is my responsibility being Chief Minister of Telangana, I have to commit and conduct and I have to do social justice because my leader has committed…”
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu extended birthday greetings to the Chief Minister. “Birthday wishes to the Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy garu. I pray for his good health and long life,” Chandrababu Naidu said on X. The Chief Minister immediately replied saying “Dear Chandrababu Naidu garu, thank you for your warm, kind wishes.”
