Telangana rowers finished runner-up in the Under-15 category of the inaugural All India indoor rowing championship in Cuttack. The team won two gold, three silver and two bronze medals, finishing second in the overall medals tally in the event
Hyderabad: Telangana put up an impressive show, finishing runner-up in the Under-15 category of the inaugural All India indoor rowing championship in Cuttack (Odisha).
Telangana rowers won two gold, three silver and two bronze to finish second in the final medals tally.
Most of the rowers are from Telangana Sports School, Telangana Tribal Sports School and the city.
Telangana State Sports Minister V Srihari, Advisor to State Government (Sports) AP Jitender Reddy, SATG chairman Shivsena Reddy and SATG VC & MD Dr A Soni Bala Devi congratulated the medallists.
