Superintendent of Police Chennuri Rupesh warns traders against selling the manja variety; calls upon kite flyers not to use it

Telangana: Sadasivapet police act tough against Chinese manja sellers, register five cases
Sadasivapet police seized a huge amount of Chinese manja from shops across the town on Tuesday.

Sangareddy: Acting tough on kite-selling shops that were caught selling banned Chinese manja, Sadasivapet police seized a huge amount of Chinese manja from the outlets on Tuesday. The police also registered five cases against the Chinese manja sellers in the town.

In a press statement, Superintendent of Police Chennuri Rupesh said several birds died after they were trapped in Chinese manja. He said that there were instances of humans getting injured and also losing lives. He strictly wanted the traders not to sell the manja. The top cop called upon the kite flyers not to use the Chinese manja.
