Telangana schools to get 13-day Dasara holidays from September 21

The School Education Department has announced 13-day Dasara holidays for schools in Telangana from September 21 to October 3. Classes will resume on October 4, with FA-2 exams before vacation and SA-1 exams scheduled from October 24 to 31.

Hyderabad: School students and teachers across the State can look forward to a longer Dasara festive break this year.

The School Education department has decided on a 13-day Dasara holiday for all schools.

Schools will break for Dasara vacation from September 21 to October 3, which is 13 days. Regular classes will resume on October 4.

Prior to vacation, the schools have to conclude their formative assessment (FA) – 2 examinations.

After resuming classwork, students have to take summative assessment (SA) – 1 examinations from October 24 to 31. After evaluation of the answer scripts, SA 1 results will be declared by November 6.

After completion of SA 1, except for teaching there will be no examination in the month of November.
