Telangana sees growth in Private healthcare facilities; emphasizes fire safety

The Director of Public Health (DPH), Telangana, Dr B Ravinder Naik on Friday said the registered private healthcare facilities in Telangana increased from 10,669 to 17,295 by November 2024 due to intensified monitoring.

Hyderabad: The Director of Public Health (DPH), Telangana, Dr B Ravinder Naik on Friday said the registered private healthcare facilities in Telangana increased from 10,669 to 17,295 by November 2024 due to intensified monitoring.

“All government hospitals must complete registration under the Clinical Establishment Act within one month. Special emphasis is placed on fire safety measures, ensuring hospitals adhere to required standards to safeguard patients and staff. The DM&HOS have been directed to conduct field surveys frequently through District level Clinical Establishment Act cells,” he said.
