Hyderabad: Telangana shooters returned with five medals in the 64th National Shooting Championship Competitions in shotgun events in Patiala on Monday.
Gusti Noria won a silver medal in the veteran’s skeet event while Tamil Nadu’s Rajah R Rajagopal took the gold medal. Munek Battula then won a bronze medal in the skeet junior men’s event. Munek also won two more medals in the team event. He along with Ayush Rudraraju and Yuvek Battula shot a silver medal in the junior men’s skeet event. In the men’s skeet team event, Munek joined hands with Shreayan Kapoor and E Chetan Reddy for a bronze medal.
Meanwhile, mixed doubles junior team of Esha Singh and Kaushik Gopu won a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol.
