HYDERABAD: Telangana shooters put up a fine show, winning three gold and two silver in the India Open Competitions (Big Bore Events and Rifle/Pistol (NR & ISSF) Events) held at The Infantry School, Army Marksmanship Unit in Mhow.

Telangana Rifle Association president and vice-president of National Rifle Association of India vice-president Amit Sanghi, congratulated the medallists.


Shafath Ali Khan (senior masters), Mohd Abdul Khalique Mustafa (junior men) and Akshita Bhumarapu (women) won a gold each.

The list of medallists: Gold – 300M Rifle Prone (NR) Championship – Senior Master Men Individual – Shafath Ali Khan – 271/300 Gold – 300m Rifle Prone (NR) Championship – Junior Men – Mohd Abdul

Khalique Khan Mustafa Khan 295/300 Gold – 10m Air Rifle Youth Women (ISSF) Individual – Akshita Bhumarapu 628.3/650.

Silver – 10M Air Rifle Junior Women (ISSF) Individual – Akshita Bhumarapu 628.3/650.

Silver Medal – 300M Rifle 3 Position (NR) Championship – Junior Men Individual – Rohit Kavit 278/300.
