Rajanna-Sircilla: BRS district president Thota Agaiah came down heavily on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sajay Kumar for criticising BRS working president KT Rama Rao using derogatory language.

Speaking to reporters in Sircilla on Sunday, Agaiah said uneducated leaders Revanth Reddy and Sanjay Kumar, who use filthy language in press meets, did not have the right to criticise Rama Rao.

Telangana State was developed on all fronts and stood in front in the country during the BRS regime led by former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Rama Rao. Revanth Reddy, who became the CM with 420 promises, had not provided Rythu Bharosa even to 25 per cent of the farmers, he said and said the ryots would teach a befitting lesson to the Congress party.

Talking about the caste census, he found fault with the Chief Minister for doing injustice to the BCs by reducing the community’s population and increasing that of upper castes. Before the elections, Congress leaders had promised to fulfill all the party’s poll promises on December 9 but failed to do so, he said, adding that the Revanth Reddy government would sink on the same December 9.

Sharply reacting to Sanjay Kumar’s comments on the BRS working president, Agaiah asked what the Union Minister had got sanctioned on his own for the development of Telangana.

On recent incidents in the district, the BRS leader said the State government had deployed an officer, who was harassing innocent people by registering illegal cases. The tea stall of a poor person was closed just for displaying a picture of Rama Rao. The Lavani patta system has been there for a long time. However, farmers and leaders were being harassed and put in jail.

He advised the government whip and Vemulawaada MLA Adi Srinivas and congress leader KK Mahender Reddy not to create troubles for the public.
