Hyderabad: In a relief to students, the State government has reduced the number of question papers from 11 to 6 in the SSC Public Examinations for the academic year 2021-2022.
A memo to this effect has been issued by the School Education department here on Monday.
The department has also included Urdu as a second language for benefit of students for the academic year 2021-22. With this, students can have Telugu/Urdu/Hindi as a second language.
Last year too, the department had reduced the number of question papers from 11 to 6 due to Covid-19 pandemic. However, the examinations could not be held due to the pandemic. All students who registered for the SSC Public Exams 2020 have been declared passed and were allotted grades considering their internal assessment marks.
